At Charlotte Chapel we believe that your time at University is a crucial time to grow as a Christian. Charlotte Chapel exists to spread the good news of the gospel and to help one another grow to become more like Jesus. We believe this is God’s great purpose for his church.
We love to welcome new students from across the UK and want to see them plugged in and become active members of our local Church. To help new students meet people we are running four welcome lunches on the 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th September, happening straight after the morning service. Here you will meet our current students as well as a wider selection of people in the Church. Our morning service is at 10:30 am and our evening service is at 7 pm.
Here at Charlotte Chapel we also run a Young Adults group. We would love to see you there – it is a key part of what we do and one of the main ways we help you love and serve Jesus more. We meet every Wednesday night during term time from 7-9pm. We meet for coffee and fellowship for half an hour before singing together. Most of our time is spent studying the Bible in small groups, trying to apply it to our lives in pursuit of becoming more like Jesus. As part of Young Adults we also run a programme where an older couple in the Church “adopt” your small group; they will invite you round for meals and help you integrate with the wider Church family.
