Women’s & Men’s Ministry

Our Women’s & Men’s Ministry provides a varied programme across the year for all ages and stages of life.  You’re welcome to come along to any of our events listed to find out more

Men’s Ministry

The Men’s Fellowship is a group that meet together to enjoy fellowship, cultivate friendships and – from time to time – share lunch.  We welcome all men of all ages whether they are able to attend once or regularly.   We hear from a variety of SPEAKERS and these meetings generally alternate with our LIFE APPLICATION BIBLE STUDIES.

All meetings are at 10:30am on Fridays in Stafford Room 1 unless otherwise stated.  We gather from around 10:00am for tea and coffee.  You will be made most welcome at any of our meetings.  For more information on any of the following meetings please contact the Secretary, David Wilson, at tcdavid@blueyonder.co.uk.

Here’s what’s happening from December until February 2020:

13 December – Planning Meeting: in a change from the previously advertised programme we will now be having a Planning Meeting (this is open to ALL men to attend) where we will consider together our programme from February to May/June.  Please be thinking of potential speakers or activities.

10 January – Meet the Willsons: We will hear from our missionaries, Jonny and Penny Willson on how they have been serving the Lord in Asia.

17 January – Life Application Bible Study: “Missing the Target” – (7) Sin of Frustration.

24 January – A Journey Through Narnia: Creation: We asked Dr Alistair Wilson, Lecturer in Mission and New Testament and Director of Postgraduate Studies  at Edinburgh Theological Seminary, to give a Christian perspective on C S Lewis and this is his topic of choice.  Followed by an optional Burns Lunch.

31 January – Life Application Bible Study: “Missing the Target” – (8) Sins of the Tongue – Gossiping.

7 February – TBA

14 February – Life Application Bible Study: “Missing the Target” – (9) Sin of Ungodliness.
