Our vision

Our vision is:

  • To be a people who glorify God in every aspect of our lives and in our church
  • To engage in the mission of Jesus Christ so that the nations of the world would glorify God by becoming his disciples
  • To see Scotland, and our City of Edinburgh, filled with people who are fulfilling the purpose for which they were created

As a church family, we fulfil our vision by walking through the four key steps of discipleship:

Love ws1. LOVE God

The greatest commandment is to love God and we can only do this if we know him. So we are gathered together by God Sunday by Sunday to hear his Word, responding to him with corporate prayer and praise, and go out to live to glorify him in all we do.

Grow ws2. GROW in Christ-likeness

Together we are called to GROW in Christ likeness. We need each other’s help to accomplish this.  That is why we believe that each Christian needs to meet in smaller more regular discipleship groups. We meet in homes across the city on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month for bible study and fellowship, and once a month on a Sunday for a social get together.

Serve ws3. SERVE Christ’s church

The mature Christian is one who uses their time, energy and gifts to SERVE Christ’s church and does the same in his world. We are deliberate about helping everyone find a place to use their gifts within the church.

Go ws4. GO and make disciples

Mature disciples are those who GO to make disciples of all nations wherever the Lord has placed them. We equip every member to share Jesus in a relevant way with those about them and run excellent central events to which all are welcome.
