Baptism Explored

Baptism Explored is a short course for any Christian who wants to investigate baptism for believers.

Who is it for?

This course is ideal for Christians who have not been baptised as believers. It gives the chance to think about this. It is also helpful for anyone who wants to refresh their understanding of baptism.

What does it cover?

We use a booklet written by Mez McConnell called Preparing for Baptism . It looks at the Bible basis for baptism of believers as we practice in Charlotte Chapel.

Mez is the pastor of Niddrie Community Church , which Charlotte Chapel supports in prayer and financially. He sometimes speaks at Charlotte Chapel, and his sermons are available.

What does the course involve?

We meet weekly for 4 weeks. Each session lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour. We read a passage from the Bible and work through it together. We think about any questions that arise.

There is also some personal study each week, which we review together.
