As well as personal prayer it is important that we meet corporately for prayer and we have several such opportunities each week, some with specific focus, others more general.
Sunday
It is important that each Sunday service is brought before the Lord in prayer and we meet for this before each service. Prayer meetings are held at 10.00am and 5.45pm, in the Committee Room, which is the room behind the Lounge at street level.
Wednesday
A prayer meeting especially for ladies, known as the Ladies' Prayer Meeting, takes place each week at 2.30pm
The main church prayer meeting is now held on alternate Wednesday evenings. This meeting is for prayer on any matter relating to the church, individuals or the world at large. The prayer meeting starts at 7.30pm, in the Lounge. There will be a number of special prayer meetings this year focusing on the different ministries within the church. Watch out for more information
YPM Prayer Meeting is held on alternate Wednesday evenings before the main YPM meeting. (7.00pm April to September (usually in the committee room), 7.30pm September to April (usually in the top hall))
Friday
An early morning prayer meeting, aimed particularly at those working in the city centre, concluding with tea and rolls before the parking restrictions come into effect at 8.30am. 7.30 to 8.15am, meeting in the Lower Hall
